Curriculum
What You Will Study
The program is being mapped to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), targeting 180 credits. Alignment verification is in progress. Your degree will carry weight beyond East Africa.
Biblical Studies — 33%
Old and New Testament, hermeneutics, exegesis. The foundation of everything.
Systematic Theology — 25%
Doctrine, ethics, the nature of God and the Church. Think clearly. Teach confidently.
Practical Theology — 25%
Pastoral care, liturgy, discipleship, counseling, church planting. Ministry that works on Monday.
Church History — 15%
Global and African church history. Know where you come from to know where you are going.
Capstone
Research and defend a bachelor’s thesis. Graduate with proof of mastery.
Academic Workload
What It Takes to Graduate
This is a real degree with real standards. Here is what you will complete between and during your residencies:

Two meetings each. One week on campus, one week online.

One on-campus intensive only. Deep focus. Face-to-face community.

Who is actually running this program?
The Higher Baptist Theological Seminary in Warsaw, Poland — a 100-year-old institution — in joint partnership with Africa Inland Church Tanzania. Archbishop Mussa Masanja Magwesela invited us here in 2020.
Do I have to leave my church to study?
No. Only five week-long meetings per year. Three on campus, two online. You keep serving while you learn.
What if I miss one meeting?
Attendance is mandatory. Miss one, repeat the year. Each week covers material that cannot be made up independently.
Is the degree recognized internationally?
Awarded by an authorized Polish seminary. ECTS alignment is in progress, targeting 180 credits for broader international standing.
What language are classes in?
English, with live Swahili translation at every session.
How much does it cost?
400,000 TSH per year. One-time 10,000 TSH application fee for first-year students. Pay monthly, per session, or upfront.
